Event Reminders: Four Corners and Benedicto Fashion Show!

The Bishop Strachan School‘s Grade 12 drama class presents Four Corners, an original play based on transcripts, interview & outreach work on the subject of hunger on May 20 and May 21 at the Baille Theatre at the Young Centre for Performing Arts. Tickets are $20 for students and $40 for adults, available online or at the BSS box office.


On Saturday, May 24, Benedicto will be presenting a fashion show at the Proof Bar and Sky Lounge at the Intercontinental Hotel on 220 Bloor Street West, Toronto. Benedicto, a clothing line founded by Juliana Corona-Mclean caters to all shapes and sizes, from “regular” to “plus” to petites. Juliana also designs for men and girls. The doors open at 6:30 pm and the fashion show will start at 7:30.

Tickets for the event are $20 ($25 at the door) and are available online, at Big it Up (58 Spadina Avenue, Toronto Eaton Centre and Square One) and at the Knowledge Bookstore in Brampton. Partial proceeds will go to Voices Ghana, a youth-centred global human rights organization working to include the input of young people in policy discussions regarding public heath and well being.
